Visual Corrections

Contact lenses are often used to correct visual deficits for athletes as well. Contact lenses that correct astigmatism often give the athlete the best vision, but they must me fitted correctly so they are stable on the eye and don’t cause intermittent blurred vision during a blink.
Lubrication of the ocular surface is essential for sharp and consistent vision. Eye drops are often prescribed to keep the front surface of the eye lubricated.
